The company said no to Ford Everest Raptor, the car world did it

A custom company in Thailand has just announced the Ford Everest Raptor version in this country.

Ford, when launching the latest generation of Ranger Raptor, confirmed that they have no plans to make a high-performance version of Everest Raptor even though the two cars share the same chassis.

For customers who are looking forward to such a model, they can find a custom version announced recently by the Shana E-Sport customization workshop in Thailand.

In the photos shared by Thailand’s Facebook channel AMP Tires, the custom Ford Everest Raptor design uses the nose of the F-150 Raptor R super pickup launched not long ago in the US.

The car’s radiator is made super large with the equally giant FORD lettering running across.

The newly added auxiliary lights below the bonnet are also a detail taken directly from the pickup prototype.

Other exterior changes can include wide wheel arches, large wheels with multi-terrain tires, Raptor stickers on the rear half of the car, extended door sills, new fenders or EVEREST-shaped lights at the rear. It is unclear if the vehicle’s powertrain has changed as this photo number does not include information.

Currently, the most powerful and capable genuine configuration of Ford Everest is the Wildtrak version with a reference price of VND 1.5 billion in Vietnam – the highest price in the segment.

There are two reasons Ford doesn’t want to make Everest Raptor, at least for the time being. First, the company believes that the purchasing power of Ford Everest Raptor is not enough to convince them to invest in the above version. Next, the lack of components for the original Ranger Raptor makes the Everest Raptor service components promising not much.
