Welcome brother!!! Always good to see and be in the presence of GREATNESS!!! Leo Messi
LeBron James in attendance for Lionel Messi’s amazing Inter Miami debut
For Inter Miami, Lionel Messi had an incredible debut.
A free kιck from roughly 25 yards by the game’s best player, a seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, gave Inter Miami a 2-1 victory over Mexican team Cruz Azul on Friday night in the Leagues Cup.
Unquestionably the best play in Inter Miami’s brief existence, his left foot sent the ball over a wall of four Cruz Azul defenders and into the top left corner of the goal. After about a minute of play, the referee blew his whistle, sparks flew into the night sky, and the game was over. Greetings, Leo. While sitting on the bench, he waved to spectators. while he warmed up, he waved to them. while he was in the game, he waved at them.
Furthermore, he kept his best performance until the very end. After witnessing the ball enter the goal, something he had done for club and nation nearly 800 times previously, he ran to the right corner of the field and jumped into the arms of teammates.
Early in the second half, with Inter Miami ahead 1-0, Messi checked in. He gave midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi a hug before trotting onto the field as the estimated 21,000 spectators appeared to be standing and practically all of them had their phones out to capture the scene. On his approach to the bench, he exchanged a hug and a few words with LeBron James, another person with experience moving to Miami after joining the Heat in 2010 and winning his first two NBA championships during a four-year stint. In the all-pink jersey, shorts, and socks, Messi took a seat and observed the beginning of a new era for his new squad.
Messi’s first match featured a meeting of GOATs, including James and Serena Williams, who, like Messi in soccer, are considered among the “greatest of all time” in the NBA and tennis, respectively. Performing artists Gloria and Emilio Estefan and Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa attended.
