Dubai’s crown prince is such a fitness enthusiast that Usain Bolt designed the gym on his 180 million dollar superyacht. The 88-meter-long ship features numerous swimming pools, a helipad, and a spa with a hair salon.
The five-deck private yacht Quattroelle is not only a mouthful at 283 feet in length, but also a massive vessel with a relatively ample volume. The $180 million motor yacht is one of the world’s most luxurious vessels, befitting a monarch. The 2013 Lurssen-built vessel is owned by Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, also known as Fazza, Crown Prince of Dubai.
The luxury vessel is crammed with a variety of spectacular features, but the peculiar name is what immediately catches your attention. Quattroelle is the Italian word for “four Ls,” which describes what she represents to her owner: Love, Life, Freedom, and Luxury. What lies beneath her name is equally intriguing. Let’s learn more about the imposing five-decker that stands out in the royal’s fleet, which also includes the $400 million Dubai yacht–
Quattroelle is the first yacht designed by Nuvolari & Lenard for Lürssen. The 283-foot yacht, which is best described as eclectic contemporary, achieves a comfortable balance between traditional and modern elements. The interior and exterior of the Lurssen vessel were created by Italian designers, who gave her a sleek profile and crowned it with opulent custom-made furnishings made from abundant wood, stone, and bespoke fabrics.
The enormous ship dedicates an entire deck to its royal owner and provides six luxury cabins for twelve visitors.
A helipad, a large gym for the self-proclaimed fitness fanatic Fazza designed by Usain Bolt, a well-equipped spa with a salon, a cinema, and a spacious eight-person Spa Pool are among the amenities.
The Quattroelle is equipped with numerous water devices, including three tenders, four Waverunners, water skis, and complete scuba gear, to accommodate an adventure-seeking crown prince. The vessel is presently docked in Trieste, Italy, and its annual operating expenses are between $18 and $20 million.
Originally named Project Bellissimo, Quattroelle was constructed for Michael Lee-Chin (former owner of the superyacht Ahpo), who sold it to UAE magnate Majid al Futtaim in 2014. The actual purchaser was yacht-loving Crown Prince Hamdan. Meanwhile, the Canadian oligarch sold Ahpo for $55 million in profit. The magnificent 378-foot Lürssen superyacht was rechristened Lady Jorgia after the completion of the largest brokerage transaction in history.
