There’s hardly anyone who can claim not to have enjoyed the movie Transformers. The franchise’s success can be attributed partially to its incredible utilization of vehicles, action, and robots. However, let’s shift our focus to a different topic – the first real transformer created by a team of Turkish engineers.
The remarkable vehicle you see here, known as “Antimon,” is a creation brought to life by the Turkish company Letvision. They have achieved something truly exceptional – a transformer that can seamlessly convert from a BMW car into a massive, powerful robot with impressive arm movements and a distinctive, somewhat eerie facial expression. According to Letvision, their Letrons series stands as a one-of-a-kind, futuristic project in the automotive industry.
The development of the leader model, “Antimon,” took around eight months to complete and was crafted using a real car as its foundation. In a captivating promo video, the car impressively drives while being controlled remotely, then undergoes a mesmerizing transformation into a living transformer. The head emerges with its intriguing face, accompanied by background music that evokes a cinematic experience. The addition of hand gestures and ejecting smoke further enhances the grand spectacle.
Though “Antimon” doesn’t have walking functionality yet, it boasts several remarkable features. It can speak and exhibit movements in its head, neck, arms, and fingers. The creators have implemented a Wi-Fi enabled LED-based dynamic eye structure and variable light spectrum to enhance its striking visual appearance.
It’s an awe-inspiring sight to behold, and the video below will undoubtedly leave you amazed!
