MBS is investing $750 million to construct the world’s largest water resort in Riyadh

MBS is investing $750 million to construct the world’s largest water resort in Riyadh. It will be 2.5 times larger than The Pentagon, dwarfing Wisconsin’s Noah’s Ark aquatic park.

The Qiddiya Water Theme Park is becoming a tangible reality as a result of the architectural, engineering, and planning firm Dewan’s spectacular design plan. It is estimated to be the largest water park in the world, spanning 337,948 square meters. It will surpass Noah Ark, the largest water park in the United States, which is located in Wisconsin and spans 280,000 square meters.

Dewan is currently supervising the physical construction of their OTT development alongside renowned theme park specialists, purveyors, and infrastructure professionals.

Ammar Al Assam, the CEO of Dewan, stated, “We are ecstatic to execute the design for this once-in-a-lifetime project to Qiddiya and the Kingdom. The company is completely committed to HH Mohamed Bin Salman’s 2030 vision and looks forward to expanding its presence in the Kingdom.

The expansive Qiddiya Water Theme Park will feature 22 attractions and aspire to become the cultural, sports, and entertainment center of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Camel Rock, the Den, the Herding Grounds, and Arabian Peak will be among the nine distinct districts of the project, which will be situated close to Riyadh and inspired by Saudi Arabia’s native animals. The ambitious $750 million project of His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman will employ cutting-edge technology to ensure that the development is consistent with His Royal Highness’s efforts to promote sustainability, as seen in other projects such as Neom, Diriyah, and Red Sea.

The installed environmental systems use 75% less water, while modern technologies help reduce evaporation concerns and ensuing water loss.
