The marina will have 120 berths and can accommodate 420-foot megayachts

To compete with the French Riviera, Saudi Arabia is constructing an opulent yacht club of the highest caliber. The marina will have 120 berths and the ability to accommodate 420-foot megayachts.

Magnificence is synonymous with the Middle East. The Saudi Arabian Triple Bay Yacht Club follows the natural slope of the land. The ultra-luxury development Amaala unveiled its iconic design for the yacht club, which will rank alongside Monaco and the Caribbean. The gigaproject will be located at the Triple Bay Marina within the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Nature Reserve. In addition to 120 yacht berths and a staggering eight resorts with over 1,300 hotel rooms, the club will include a vast array of luxury F&B, retail, and leisure facilities. This iconic structure will bridge the gap between land and sea, allowing seafarers to experience the benefits of both land and sea under one roof.

John Pagano, the CEO of Amaala, stated, “Amaala is one of the crown jewels of Saudi Vision 2030 and remains fundamental to the Kingdom’s aspirations to become a global tourism leader. We anticipate that Amaala will become a center for luxury yachting on a global scale. According to Arabian Business, the yacht club required a world-class design influenced by the adjacent natural elements and Arabic heritage and supported by our commitment to sustainability. The design of the Triple Bay Yacht Club is influenced by geometry and the merging of land and sea. “It was obvious from the outset that we wanted to design a building that reflected its location, drawing inspiration from local landscapes and culture as well as the marine way of life. “The team wanted to reimagine the yacht club as a modern concept, a home away from home for all types of nautical enthusiasts, from leisure to elite sport,” said Dan Flower, HKS Design Director and Amaala Yacht Club’s Lead Architect.

The first phase of the magnificent Triple Bay Yacht Club will be concluded in 2024, with one thousand laborers already toiling on-site. The vast, four-story, 7,900-square-meter property will provide guests with an opulent home away from home where they can conduct business, unwind, entertain, or participate in a calendar of yachting events. Once fully operational, Amaala will generate approximately 50,000 local jobs and nearly $3 billion in GDP, per Superyacht Times.
