A blessed start

Fazza started school at the prestigious Rashid School for Boys in Dubai, which was founded by the emirate’s first ruler in 1986. His older brother, Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, is an equestrian, and so did Fazza. Later, he moved to the UK to attend Sandhurst, a top school for British military officers that is popular with royals from the Middle East, and then the London School of Economics.
Since 2008, he has been the crown prince of Dubai. His brother Sheikh Rashid was not chosen for the job (Rashid later died suddenly of a heart attack in 2015, aged 33).

Being the crown prince of a beautiful place like Dubai can be enough to get a lot of attention on social media. But that’s not really what’s going on here. More people follow the crown prince on Instagram than live in the UAE, which is more than 15 million (which was clocked at 10 million last year).

His account shows off an amazing life full of adventure and luxury. He posts about things like animals, poetry, sports, and photography, and each post gets hundreds of thousands of likes and views.

The crown prince of Dubai writes poems in the old Arabic Nabati style. He puts out his poems under the name “Fazza,” which in Arabic means “the one who helps.” In 2019, the Emirati prince put out a collection of 18 poems called For the Love of Horses. These poems were written in both English and Arabic.
Sheikh Hamdan has said that his poetry is “my identity and poetic character, through which I try in my own simple way to rekindle the joy in people’s hearts and ease their suffering.” I say what they want and what they hope for,” according to The National.

One person can’t have everything, but Fazza seems to have tried everything. Is there any sport he hasn’t tried, from spearfishing to cycling, ziplining, snowboarding, horseback riding, deep sea diving, and skydiving?
In 2013, Fazza did a stunt in which he climbed the Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world. A few days after the UAE won the World Expo 2020, he took a picture of himself standing on the top of the spire and waving the UAE flag.
