The basic rule of thumb when it comes to impressing potential owners of superyachts is that the more, the better.
As a result, the ‘groundbreaking’ 65-meter (213-foot) ‘See’ will undoubtedly cause a stir. After all, it features not just one but a total of five swimming pools. There are two infinity pools here, and one of them has a floor that you can see right through.
There is a focus on transparency on See, which was designed by the New York-based company Gill Schmid Design and the Southampton-based firm Lateral Naval Architects. The yacht has enormous reflective glass walls that wrap all the way around it.

SE is here to introduce you to the new generation of eco-friendly superyachts.
In addition to it, there is a glass canopy that sits atop a 3D outdoor theater screen. This may be retracted in order to form what is referred to as “an expansive oceanfront terrace.”
See will have a “concept kitchen” that will make it possible for chefs to employ hydroponic tanks, a fermentation chamber, a mushroom lab, and an outdoor grill. As a result, the needs of foodies will be met to a high degree on See.
The guests will have the option of dining outdoors, at a sushi counter, at a deli and raw food counter, or grabbing a bite to eat at the juice, coffee, and dessert bar. All of these options will be available to them.

‘Food is part of the holistic lifestyle on board,’ says Gill Schmid Design.
Fitness fanatics will be able to make use of the gym – and relax afterwards in the sauna/steam room or tend to sore muscles in the hot tub.
Passengers are accommodated in six suites and one ‘owner’s suite’ with an ‘extensive’ outdoor deck.

The layout, meanwhile, is open plan, with ‘convertible spaces’.
‘Think Transformers in an architectural context,’ explains Gill Schmid Design.
It continues: ‘Innovative openable envelopes enable the vessel to transform from a sequence of separate spaces to a completely open and porous environment of experiences.
‘See offers a much more laid-back atmosphere with more casual dining, living and entertainment spaces.
‘You will not find a formal saloon or dining space or a complete separation between guests and crew.’

See’s primary source of power will be from batteries, which will be recharged by diesel engines.
Gill Schmid Design says: ‘The system enables diesel generators to be selected purely because of efficiency and optimum energy density. This brings advantages to overall architecture efficiency, flexibility of layout, noise and vibration, maintenance, and operational effectiveness of the vessel as a whole.’
See is a concept at present, but Gill Schmid Design adds: ‘We have ongoing interest from both shipyards and buyers and are hoping it will go into production.’
