The split-level owner’s suite, the spacious external side decks that led you to the stainless-steel Phoenix sculpture on the bow, and the retro decor that married the shades of black, cream, gold, and burgundy to recreate an era that was romantic and opulent in equal measures are all details that will remain in your mind long after you’ve forgotten the rest.

A concert grand piano. The Phoenix 2 has a big, piano-themed dining table that can seat a large number of guests, making it ideal for social gatherings. The owner’s love of opera, piano, and classical music is celebrated in the elegant dining room’s orchestral decor. DKT’s huge gold bas-relief frieze of jazz performers covers the room’s six walls and draws the eye. In a separate chamber on the ship is a special black-and-gold Steinway piano.

The hallway leading to the owner’s suite features a Modigliani sculpture that is sure to please any art connoisseurs. In the cinema, inspired by New York’s Radio City Music Hall, film buffs will have the fun of their lives watching legendary films. The black carpet and velvet curtain slides create a genuine feel for a night at the movies, while fiber optic lighting draws attention to the room.

The upper deck saloon is brightened by a central skylight and can accommodate up to 120 guests thanks to its direct passage to the winter garden. Retractable glass windows allow the room to be closed off for solitude on calmer days. It’s interesting that you can raise and lower the buffet tables with a single button. On the way to the owner’s suite, you’ll see a painting portraying New York City’s bustling streets.
