Inside Odell Beckham Jr.’s post-trade getaway to the Maldives

Odell Beckham Jr. undoubtedly enjoyed his spring vacation to the fullest.

After being dealt to the Cleveland Browns last month, the former New York Giants receiver relaxed at the opulent One&Only Reethi Rah resort in the Maldives.

On Wednesday, Beckham, 26, posted a photo from his private island vacation to Instagram along with the caption, “‘The game was off balance, I’m back on my shxt’… had to recenter myself.”

Beckham slept in a high-end Beach Villa with a private pool, which can run about $2,000 per night, according to the resort’s website. Beckham was joined by a few friends.

The NFL player and his friends reportedly dined on Japanese food at the resort’s Tapasake restaurant and relaxed at the One&Only Spa when they weren’t swimming with sharks at the Shark Reef.

The gang was sighted on a private yacht as well.

Regarding Beckham’s career, he seems to be settling in well as a Cleveland Brown after making his official debut with the team on Monday.

According to Beckham, “I think this moment is going to be more iconic than we all realize right now.” We want to be able to go back in ten years and say, “Man, I remember. The beginning of something great.”
