Steph Curry, the Golden State Warriors’ star, was a surprise special guest at a Paramore concert this week, jumping around on stage in front of delighted fans.
Curry is taking some time off during the offseason after celebrating his 12th wedding anniversary with his wife Ayesha in Greece.
And, as he continues to take a break from basketball, he decided to spend an evening at a Paramore concert, where he was invited to join the band on stage by lead singer Hayley Williams.
Williams told the audience that Curry was a close friend and that fans were no longer watching a Paramore show, but rather “The Steph Curry Show.”
‘Look, you know us and Steph, we’ve known each other for a few years,’ she explained. ‘And tonight is our get-together. We’re going to sing something together tonight. And listen, this is no longer a Paramore show; it is a Steph Curry show from the moment Steph takes the mic.’

The 35-year-old, wearing all black, a backwards cap and glasses, stood behind Williams at the back of the stage as she performed her hit song Misery Business before she moved aside – allowing him to move to the front and sing the chorus.
The four-time NBA champion appeared to be enjoying the moment, gesticulating to the audience before bouncing around on stage as the beat dropped and confetti rained down on him and the band.
Curry has had a busy summer, having competed in the American Century Championship golf tournament in Lake Tahoe last month, winning the competition and earning $125,000 in prize money.
After making an incredible hole in one earlier in the tournament, he capped it off with an eagle on the par-5 18th hole. After the putt, he tossed his hat into the air and dashed into Ayesha’s arms.
‘I don’t do this for a living, so it’s just something you fantasize about,’ Curry explained. ‘I’ve been playing in this tournament for almost a decade and now I’ve got some hardware to show for it. It’s quite unique.’
Curry, who has promised to donate his prize money to charity, finished with 75 points, two more than runner-up Mardy Fish, a former professional tennis player who won this event in 2020. Fish was three points ahead of Curry going into the 18th hole, but he made par.
