Billionaire Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan commissioned Lurssen to build his $360 million, 400-foot megayacht, Project Jag. Indoor and outdoor theaters, a spa, a gym, and a stunning silver Jaguar mascot will all be included in the superyacht’s amenities.
Project Jag, a 400-foot-long luxury yacht built by Lurssen, has garnered the company a lot of attention. Despite being built in secret, the world got a peek of the ship’s regal air and enough information to identify its wealthy owner. Billionaire Shahid Khan, who owns the Jacksonville Jaguars and Fulham F.C., seems to be the proud owner of a brand-new superyacht. The sports tycoon’s third superyacht, which debuted in Rendsburg, Germany, had a Nuvolari Lenard exterior.
With its tall bowsprit, open-air decking, and iconic Jaguar mascot stationed beneath the bowsprit, this ship has been widely speculated to be a successor for the Pakistan-born businessman’s previous $200 million yacht, Kismet.
Luxury boat measuring 312 feet in length Kismet honored the $8 billionaire businessman with a stunning silver Jaguar mascot on her bow. Project Jag is a new and enhanced ship that is approximately 100 feet longer and has more luxurious extras.
Project Jag would provide even higher levels of luxury than Kismet did for her owner’s lavish lifestyle and sports team. Project Jag has 11 staterooms as compared to Kismet’s eight and a staff of 40 to take care of its visitors. This floating tribute will include both an interior theater and an outside movie screen. The $360 million megayacht has a helipad, spa, fully-equipped gym, assortment of toys, and tenders. Khan estimates that the minimum yearly operating expenses for the new, larger vessel will be $30 million.
