Find out about the $22 million mansion of retired NBA star Dwyane Wade in Miami Beach

The Wall Street Journal says that Mr. Wade paid $10,645,000 for the property in 2010 and fixed it up. The about 12,000-square-foot property is on North Bay Road, a street where business executives and celebrities like to hang out. It has a wine room, game room, swimming pool, home theater, and outdoor basketball court.

In 2019, Mr. Wade put the house on the market just a few months after playing his last game for the Miami Heat, the team he had been with for most of his career. He recently bought a house in Los Angeles with his wife, the actress Gabrielle Union. Since then, the price has gone down more than once, and the most recent price was $26.5 million.

Brett Harris of Douglas Elliman represented both the buyer and the vendor in this transaction. He affirmed that the transaction had closed but declined further comment.

In 2014, Mr. Wade and Ms. Union got married, and they now have a daughter named Kaavia. Public records show that the couple has since bought a mansion in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Hidden Hills for $17.9 million. When asked for comment, the couple’s representative didn’t get back to us right away.

The property has approximately one acre of land with verdant gardens

Mr. Wade is also a minority owner of the Utah Jazz after purchasing a stake in the franchise this year.
