Bag of Money Indeed: Rapper Rick Ross Splurges on $37.5M Oceanfront Mansion in Miami

Rick Ross, whose given name is William Leonard Roberts II, must be loaded with cash: Reportedly, he has signed a contract for a residence on Miami’s renowned Star Island.

According to The Real Deal, Ross’s celebrity neighbors include Gloria Estefan and Sean “Diddy” Combs, who reportedly gave Ross a golf cart as a greeting to the exclusive neighborhood.

The 9,747-square-foot estate, listed for $37.5 million, features six bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms. The exclusive new residence of the record executive spans nearly an acre and features 100 feet of prime water frontage. The expensive property is presently “pending sale”

The sophisticated mansion built for a CEO was intended to dazzle. A lengthy driveway leads from the guard-gated entrance to the opulent residence.

There is custom millwork throughout the home’s interior, and many rooms are surrounded by soaring glass walls where the hip-hop artist can take in the spectacular vistas.

A grand vestibule with a 30-foot ceiling, a custom staircase, and travertine flooring. From this vantage point, one can see Biscayne Bay.

The expansive living room features a wall of windows that opens to a large, waterfront veranda.

The walls of the library are lined with built-in bookcases, and the entertainment room features a built-in bar and ample space to unwind and enjoy the bayfront view.

The kitchen of a gourmet chef has numerous cabinets, a large island, a double-wall oven, and high-end appliances. A discrete breakfast room would be (yet another) pleasant place to appreciate the view.

The primary suite on the first floor is surrounded by glass that admits to ocean breezes. One of the two primary restrooms, one of which has a soaking tub, is accessible via stairs made of marble.

Additional bedrooms with private bathrooms are located on the second floor, with access to expansive terraces.

Outside, the property features a heated swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen, and a 40-foot private jetty.

In addition, there is a garage that can fit an Aston Martin or a purple Lamborghini.

The “Port of Miami” actor is rumored to want to add his own personal design touches to the property.
