Elon Musk officially test-drives the Cybertruck electric pickup truck


AUSTIN, Texas (NV) – According to news website foxbusiness.com, on August 23, Tesla owner Elon Musk announced on social media network X that he has just test-drive the newly produced Tesla Cybertruck. First produced in Texas.

This is an important milestone for Tesla, as this electric pickup is officially in production. Last year, Mr. Musk said supply chain shortages had affected the supply of key parts, pushing Cybertruck production back to 2023.

Price and competition. When Elon Musk first announced the Cybertruck in 2019, the company allowed prospective buyers to pay $100 to pre-order a Cybertruck. Then the initial price is expected to be below $40,000.According to Kelley Blue Book, the starting price of a Cybertruck can start at $50,000. Currently, Tesla has no details on the actual price, nor specific details on the vehicle’s specifications, or an official start date of delivery to dealers.Ford Lightning and Rivian will be the main competitors of the Cybertruck.Buyers are eagerly waiting for the first Cybertruck to roll on American streets. (HD)
