Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela, bought a $10.75 million mansion near Inter Miami’s stadium

The vast new $10.75 million mansion in Fort Lauderdale that Lionel Messi and his young family have purchased has 10 bedrooms, a spa room, two boat docks, and a swimming pool.

Since joining Inter Miami in the summer, the Argentine superstar, who signed a two-and-a-half-year contract worth $50–60 million a season, has been aiming to increase his real estate holdings.

He reportedly previously had two condominiums in Sunny Isles Beach in addition to his $9 million luxury residence in Miami, but he had recently been seen house searching in the Boca Raton region with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo and their son Thiago.

But Messi has now approved the purchase of a new 10,500 square foot home inside the gated town of Bay Colony, one of the floating communities north of Fort Lauderdale.

Only a 15-minute drive separates the magnificent home from Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium and training base.

Sergio Busquets is also nearby; the midfielder, who moved to South Florida to join Messi, is said to have just paid roughly $9 million for a beachfront house in Sea Ranch Lakes.

The 36-year-old will move into the property alongside his wife Antonela and their young family

The swimming pool outside the house sits just off the canals which weave through the area

The $10.75 million home has a balcony that overlooks Fort Lauderdale’s skyline.

It has a swimming pool that is located right on the edge of the canals that run across South Florida.

Nine baths, an Italian kitchen, a workout and spa area, a VIP suite, and a balcony with views of the Fort Lauderdale skyline are all inside the house.

Messi, who is now representing Argentina on an international level, used Team Simpkin to help him purchase the property. Since the MLS club’s establishment in 2018, Team Simpkin has assisted players there in purchasing homes.

The World Cup champion purchased a Miami property in the Porsche Design Tower back in 2019, according to the Spanish publication Cadena Ser.

According to the listing, the house features ‘an Italian kitchen with top of the line appliances’

Also included are an ‘entertaining lounge, executive office, VIP suite and Captain’s Suite’

Messi and Antonela have been looking to expand their property portfolio since arriving

Together with Sergio Busquets, David Beckham, and Jordi Alba, he has been having fun in Miami.

The stadium for Inter Miami is 25 minutes away from the 60-floor tower, which is located between Bal Harbour and Aventura.

The building has a number of elevators just for resident cars, enabling owners to park their cars inside their own unit.

The property offers a private restaurant and an outdoor lounge that overlooks the sea in addition to vehicle lifts.

In addition to a movie, golf, and racing simulators, Messi’s stunning residence provides his family with the ideal opportunity for rest.
