Hannibal Mejbri, who has not yet appeared for Manchester United this season despite their midfield injury crisis and his participation in the club’s pre-season tour, earned his 26th senior cap for Tunisia during this match. He came off the bench in the 82nd minute to replace Elias Achouri.

This victory came in a meeting between two teams preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations early next year. However, Hannibal’s participation in international duty could result in him missing up to nine matches for Manchester United. The 20-year-old midfielder made his international debut for Tunisia in 2021 and was part of their squad for the last World Cup.
