During a recent question and answer session on Instagram, Brittany Matthews opened up about her experiences of living in the public eye. She also shared some amusing details about Patrick Mahomes’ routine before going to bed.
The co-owner of KC Current, who got married to the quarterback of the Chiefs team that won the Super Bowl in March 2022, talked about how life has changed for her and her family since Mahomes became a famous athlete.
Matthews responded, “I can by myself” in response to the repeated question of whether or not she is able to go out and buy groceries like “regular” people do. However, because of Patrick, we are need to make particular preparations no matter where we travel.
In point of fact, the couple does not do their own shopping for groceries.
Matthews noted in her email that “Our chef does it for us now…,” adding that she was “nuts” when she went grocery shopping because she would buy an excessive amount of food.
What about the strange routine that Mahomes has?
It was disclosed by Matthews that he “eats Doritos every night in bed.”
The influencer, who is 28 years old, went on to reveal that she and Mahomes have provided a secure future for their family, as well as the one thing she has realized as a result of living her life in the public eye.
The businesswoman in the fitness industry continued by saying that she does all of her shopping for garments over the internet.
“That the world is wiiiiiiild,” she wrote in her journal.
Matthews, who has been candid about her struggles with internet trolls and cyberbullying, rejected the idea of her family participating in a reality program.
“Nope, not ever,” was her response to that.
However, Mahomes and Matthews were featured in the Netflix documentary “Quarterback,” which followed her and the Chiefs quarterback on and off the field during the entirety of the 2022 NFL season — along with Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins and former Falcons signal-caller Marcus Mariota, who is now with the Eagles.
Matthews, who has two children with Mahomes—a girl named Sterling, who is two years old, and a son named Bronze, who is ten months old—talked about the NFL stadiums at which she has had the most memorable experiences.
“Arizona and San Francisco have been the top two that are so helpful and accommodating,” she stated in her letter.
The high school sweethearts got married in a small ceremony in Hawaii in March 2022, and their daughter Sterling was the flower girl for the occasion. After suffering a defeat in the opening game of the season at the hands of the Lions, the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs will travel to Jacksonville on September 17 for Week 2 action.
