Kendrick Lamar’s Grand Villa Campus: Showcasing Opulence with Parking Capacity for 10 Cars

Kendrick Lamar spent a good portion of his life in Manhattan Beach. After years of renting, the rapper and singer finally bought their own home three years ago, and it’s located just two blocks away from the beach with its white sand and clear ocean. He just recently purchased a classic property in the Bel Air neighborhood located in East Gate.

According to the records, Lamar paid close to the asking amount of the seller for his new property, which was $15.9 million. The construction, which was designed by the well-known Los Angeles architect Edward Fickett and features brick and wood accents, consists of a main house and a two-story guesthouse with a total of seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms in slightly over 8,000 square feet of space.

Lamar’s new house is concealed by walls and gates and sits on a flat site that is approximately three quarters of an acre in size. It has a two-car garage and side parking for as many as eight vehicles. A previous advertisement for a rental property depicts a sizable living and dining space equipped with hardwood flooring, a brick fireplace, and a patio that is covered.

A family room designed to resemble an atrium leads to a contemporary kitchen that features high-end stainless steel appliances, an eat-in island, a butler’s pantry, and a breakfast room. A lengthy hallway leads to the master retreat, which features a sitting room with a fireplace, a large bathroom with twin vanities and a clawfoot soaking tub, an office that can also be used as a library, a movie theater, a wine cellar, and a gym.

The verdant, walled grounds have a pool, spa, sundeck, koi pond, and al fresco dining area. The guesthouse has a living/dining room, kitchen, bedroom, bath, laundry area, and two bedrooms and a bath upstairs.

Lamar has had a great musical career spanning twenty years. The native of Compton, now 35 years old, earned 14 Grammys out of a total of 39 nominations, was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for “D.A.M.N.,” the first nonclassical or jazz recording to do so, and performed in a hip hop-themed Super Bowl halftime show earlier this year. He also received a Pulitzer Prize for “D.A.M.N.” earlier this year.

Lamar also has a Calabasas home where various family members have lived.
