Pharrell Williams is ready to move on after just two years since purchasing the contemporary home from Tyler Perry. Pharrell Williams is a music producer. The recipient of the Grammy Award has put his breathtaking Beverly Hills mansion on the market for $16.95 million, just two years after purchasing it from another Hollywood personality, Tyler Perry. The ultra-contemporary home spans an astonishing 17,475 square feet and is located on a plot of land that is four acres in size with a view of the downtown area of Los Angeles.
The glass and steel structure was custom-built in 1992, and it contains 10 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Additionally, it has a 200-foot driveway, which helps to keep it reasonably hidden from its neighbors. This leads to an amazing motor court that has room for up to 30 cars without any difficulty. In addition, there are koi ponds, tennis courts, rock sculptures, a grotto, and a resort-style swimming pool with a waterfall located on the grounds.
Because the entire façade of the mansion is built of glass and steel beams, it gives the impression of being a museum rather than a dwelling. Inside, the spacious main entranceway features a reflecting pool as well as a series of stone marble staircases that overlap with one another. Pyramid-shaped skylights not only offer abundance of natural light but also a sense of mystery to the space.
A game room can be found on the bottom level, and it is completely enclosed on one side by glass walls that have been cut at acute angles. In the center of the space is an aesthetically daring fireplace that burns wood. The other notable room is the formal dining room, which has a chandelier made of rock hanging from the ceiling. Many of the guest suites on the upper floor have balconies that link to one another.
Williams paid Perry a total of $15.6 million to purchase the property in the beginning. In addition to the residence that he has just put up for sale, he is the proud owner of a lavish mansion in the Hollywood Hills that he purchased for $7.14 million in the year 2015. Also composed of concrete and glass, it appears that the “Happy” singer has a preference for these materials.
