Jay-Z and Beyoncé have spent a little fortune on one of the finest architectural marvels in the country: a 30,000 square foot mansion in a posh section of Malibu.
The couple reportedly paid $200 million for the property, making it the most expensive home ever sold in California. The previous record was $177 million.
This sale of a Manhattan condo for $238 million is the highest expensive residential property deal in the United States.
They actually received a fantastic deal because the house was covertly listed for a staggering $295 M.
The home is located in the Paradise Cove neighborhood, sometimes known as Billionaires’ Row, on an 8-acre cliff with a view of the Pacific Ocean.
It is a work of art in terms of architecture and was designed by the Japanese master architect Tadao Ando, who is also designing the property in Malibu that Kanye West just recently purchased.
William Bell, one of the most significant art collectors in the world, owned the property and was responsible for its construction. Approximately fifteen years were spent by Bell in the construction of the building that was made entirely of concrete.
The residence is the couple’s second substantial investment in real estate in the area.
We are aware of their activities in the greater Los Angeles area; in 2017, they purchased a home in Bel-Air, California, for the price of $88 million, and they subsequently boosted the worth of the property by an additional $10 million.
Mega-celebrity real estate agent Kurt Rappaport represented both the buyer and the seller in this transaction. Our request for a reply from his administration has not been met with a response as of yet.
