Former women’s singles champion of the United States Open Sloane Stephens has listed her Spanish-style property in the neighborhood of Little Holmby in Los Angeles for a price little under $3.4 million.
The professional tennis player, who just got married to the professional soccer player Jozy Altidore, stands to profit from the sale of the home she purchased in 2015 for $2.4 million, which makes it seven years since she made the purchase.
On a plot of land of a quarter acre and adorned with bougainvillea and other flora, a two-story stucco and terracotta-roofed residence built in the 1930s can be found concealed between gated entrances.
The house has a total of four bedrooms and four bathrooms, in addition to having an area of more than 2,900 square feet and having a transitional style. There are still the historic features that were originally installed, such as the stained glass windows, arched doors, hardwood flooring, and ornate crown molding.
Front yard with landscaping and a path that leads to a huge tiled courtyard behind the house. The formal living room contains a fireplace that burns wood, and the kitchen, which is tiled with subway tiles, has handmade cabinets and pricey Viking appliances.
Both the formal dining room and the informal breakfast nook have French doors that go outside to the gardens.
The main bedroom is located upstairs and features a balcony, walk-in closets, and a lavish bathroom with two vanities, a clawfoot tub, and a glass-enclosed shower.
A bright bonus room, a full bathroom, and two guest bedrooms—one of which has a walk-in closet and a small office—are also found on the second floor. A detached building that is now being utilized as a gym and an outdoor eating space can be found in the grassy backyard.
Stephens also owns a Sherman Oaks residence that she paid $6.9 miℓℓio𝚗 for in May 2021 and a modern farmhouse in Studio City that she paid $2.2 miℓℓio𝚗 for in the summer of 2020. James Harris and David Parnes of The Agency are the listed agents for her Little Holmby residence.
