As they tried to figure out what Allen was saying at the moment, other readers posted emojis of laughter and tears. After reading Allen’s remarks during the huddle, another reader referred to Swift and Kelce as a “power couple” and claimed that the pop sensation and the Chiefs tight end are “taking over football.”

Regarding his pre-snap reads, Allen won’t be confused for Peyton Manning anytime soon, but after his performance on Thursday, both before and after the huddle, he definitely won over a number of new fans.

Shortly after Allen’s audible, the Buccaneers knotted the game at ten to ten, raising the possibility that he miscalled his call before the snap.
