The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings will play on Wednesday night at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
Klay Thompson is labeled as probable for the game, so he should be available despite being on the injury report.
Thompson participated in all three of the team’s opening games. In each game, he shoots 40.0% from three-point range and 47.6% from the field, averaging 17.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists.
The Warriors defeated Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans 130-102 last night (Thompson did not play in the game). The Warriors have now won three of their first four games.
Thompson just finished a season in which he shot 41.2% from three-point range and 43.6% from the field in 69 games, averaging 21.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
With a 44-38 record, the Warriors were the sixth seed in the Western Conference and defeated the Kings in seven games in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Nevertheless, they were defeated (in six games) by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round.
On Friday night, they’ll play the Oklahoma City Thunder (away from home) after the Kings.
The Kings have won two of their first three games and are currently riding high after defeating the Lakers 132-127 (in overtime).
On Saturday night in Texas, they will play their next game (a road game) against the Houston Rockets after the Warriors.
