We are all merely residing in Klay Thompson’s universe.
The shooting guard has been on a lavish trip to celebrate winning his fourth NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors.
On Saturday, he shared a photo from the Bahamas’ beaches on Instagram.
“Everything is better in the Bahamas,” was the caption for a photo of Thompson in the sand that had the words “NBA Champs 2022!” scribbled over it.
When his brother Trayce was playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers in their 7-4 victory over the New York Giants last week, Thompson was seen on camera downing a drink and yelling with excitement.
For the five-time All-Star, the Bahamas are more than simply a holiday spot because Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, is where his father Mychal was born.
After the team defeated the Boston Celtics in six games, Thompson even sent a shout-out to his family in the islands.
Thompson remarked, “I know my family is watching in Nassau.” “This summer, I can’t wait to celebrate with my entire family when I return.”
The Washington State graduate, who took home the 2022 ESPY award for Best Comeback Athlete, has had a busy summer.
In two of the previous four seasons, Thompson had already experienced an ACL tear and an Achilles tear, among other injuries.
At the end of the NBA postseason, the shooting guard averaged 19 points, 2 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per game.
