The Lakers fell down by 13 points in the first quarter and were never able to get back, losing 138-94 overall.

The Lakers, who were ranked seventh in the Western Conference after 18 games, fell to 10-8 after the defeat.

The Lakers will now go to Michigan to play the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night after the 76ers.  

With a record of 12-5 after 17 games, the 76ers are currently ranked as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They have won seven of their 10 games played at home, and they are currently riding a two-game winning streak.
