Warriors guards Steph Curry and Klay Thompson fire back at Dillon Brooks

The Golden State Warriors are still having problems when playing the Memphis Grizzles and on the road. Talk about Grizzles guard Dillon Brooks and his ongoing mission to irritate the Warriors surrounds Saturday night’s most recent setback.

There has been much talk of Brooks’s well-known feud with Draymond Green on podcasts, in interviews, and in a few on-court exchanges. According to Evan Barnes of The Commercial Appeal, Klay Thompson had plenty to say after the game and teased Brooks with his championship pedigree during the Grizzles’ 133-119 loss.

In the Memphis triumph, Brooks finished with 18 points, demonstrating his ability to perform well even without all-star Ja Morant. While scoring 16 points, Stephen Curry made it clear that he was paying attention to Brooks’ antics.

When asked about Brooks defending him for the bulk of the game, Curry responded, “We played the whole Memphis Grizzlies, not just him.”

The Warriors’ terrible road record now stands at 7-29 after losing both of their games in Memphis this season.
