“I took the time to work on myself, putting myself in a better headspace mentally and mentally. Although I will return to the field soon, the treatment process will continue because this is a long road,” Ja Morant shared about 2 weeks of rest and working with a psychologist in Florida.

“Obviously I made a big mistake and attracted a lot of negative attention, not only towards me but also towards my friends, relatives, family and the team. I sincerely apologize to everyone for this.

My job now is to understand myself better, be more responsible, and be wiser with my actions and words so that those mistakes don’t happen again.”

Confirming once again to reporters and the press, Ja Morant said he entered the treatment process to recover and improve psychologically. Although the previous incident involved intoxication, Morant said he had no problems related to alcohol or drug addiction.

“I’m not an alcoholic. I also never drank too much. I was there (psychological treatment in Florida – PV) to learn how to cope with pressure, stress and handle everything with one thought Be positive instead of doing whatever you want like before, which has caused me to encounter many problems in life”.

Ja Morant said he will continue to undergo psychological treatment in the near future, and will temporarily stay away from social networks for a while.

Looking forward, the Grizzies’ All-Star guard said he will focus entirely on basketball and his NBA career. Morant’s team is currently ranked second in the West and is about to enter an important stage, the NBA Playoffs.

The Memphis Grizzlies can only go far with a uniform squad and a very high fighting spirit like the current one, but that can only be realized if Ja Morant is in perfect physical condition and mentality.

“What I’ve been doing for the past 2 weeks is to improve my mental health, helping me be more mentally prepared when I compete again. I will certainly continue to maintain them to do all I can for the team and the people around me”, added Morant.
