Update on the Steph Curry Home Invasion Incident:

An arrest warrant has been issued for Sheng Gao, an 18-year-old exchange student from China accused of breaking into the home of Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry. Gao was scheduled to appear in Redwood City misdemeanor court for arraignment, but he failed to appear, leading to the issuance of a bench warrant for his arrest with bail set at $500.

According to prosecutors, Gao traveled by bus on October 15 to find Curry’s home, seeking an autograph. Upon arriving in the area, he spoke to someone who directed him to Curry’s residence. Around 5:50 p.m., Gao approached the gate, pressed the intercom buttons, and the gate opened. He entered the property through the unlocked front door.

Inside the home, Gao was confronted by a nanny who questioned his presence. When asked, he stated that he wanted Curry’s autograph. The nanny had observed Gao on a surveillance camera and confronted him as he entered the living room.
