Security Breach at Steph Curry’s Residence: Trespasser Enters Home Seeking Autograph
In a startling incident reported by Emily Mibach of the Palo Alto Daily Post, a trespasser managed to breach the security measures at NBA star Steph Curry’s Atherton mansion, entering the residence while Curry’s children were at home. The trespasser, identified as Sheng Gao, 19, from Cupertino, was arrested on October 15, though details of the incident only surfaced through the District Attorney’s office on Thursday.
According to Chief Deputy District Attorney Sean Gallagher, Gao approached Curry’s residence on Selby Lane, manipulated the gate keypad, and gained access. Subsequently, he walked up the driveway, entered the unlocked front door, and reportedly roamed through the house. Notably, Steph and Ayesha Curry were not at home during the incident, but their three children and nanny were present.

Wagstaffe informed SFGATE that Gao was quickly located by the police in Atherton, a wealthy Silicon Valley enclave situated approximately 30 miles southeast of San Francisco.
