CURRY MOVES UP ALL-TIME GAMES PLAYED LIST AS WARRIORS FACE PISTONS
On Friday evening, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors hosted the Detroit Pistons at the Chase Center in California. Curry played in his 915th career game, surpassing Hall of Famer Allen Iverson and Bo Outlaw, tying George Hill, Al Jefferson, and Clarence Weatherspoon for 239th on the NBA’s all-time regular-season games played list.
With averages of 27.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game, Curry has been a standout performer despite the Warriors’ struggles this season. The team is currently the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 16-18 record in their first 34 games.
In their recent game against the Denver Nuggets, the Warriors had an 18-point lead in the middle of the fourth quarter but ended up losing 130-127. Curry contributed 30 points, four rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block in 35 minutes of playing time.
Following the Pistons matchup, the Warriors will stay at home to face Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors on Sunday at the Chase Center in San Francisco. The team looks to bounce back and improve their position in the Western Conference standings.
