The Splash Brothers were well-represented in the first round of NBA All-Star voting for 2024. Stephen Curry (1,394,980) was second in the Western Conference behind Luka Doncic (1,452,733), and Klay Thompson (183,274) was ninth. Curry and Thompson joined Doncic and Kyrie Irving (Mavericks) as the only West backcourts with two top-10 picks.
Curry has started in all nine of his All-Star appearances, and Dub Nation can help him get a tenth this season. Because there is so much competition in the Western Conference, especially in the backcourt, every vote counts. Curry leads the league in total made 3-pointers (151), 3-pointers made per game (4.7), and a variety of ‘clutch time’ stats such as total points (100), made field goals (29) and made 3-pointers (16).
Thompson, who averages 16.9 points per game and shoots 37.8 percent from three, is looking for his first All-Star appearance since 2019.
This Friday is the next “3-for-1 Day,” when every fan vote counts three times. On Thursday, January 11, the next fan voting update will be released.
With NBA ID, the league’s global membership program, fans can vote on the NBA App or NBA.com. US voters will be automatically entered into the NBA ID All-Star Voting Sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip to Indianapolis for NBA All-Star 2024.
