In recent reports, it has been revealed that basketball superstar Steph Curry has not only upgraded his living arrangements but has also turned a profit in the process. In December 2020, Curry acquired a lavish property in Atherton, California, spanning 17,761 square feet on 1.7 acres of prime land, all within the confines of the United States’ most expensive zip code. The hefty price tag for this acquisition amounted to $30 million.
Notably, Curry strategically sold his previous Atherton mansion, a 7,535-square-foot residence on 1.18 acres, to Chinese billionaire Forest Li in the fall of 2021, fetching an impressive $31.2 million in the transaction.
The new Bay Area estate owned by Curry is an architectural marvel, featuring seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Its exterior showcases a combination of stucco and glass, complemented by an outdoor space that includes a pool, sundeck, cabana, and meticulously landscaped lawn.
Upon stepping inside, visitors are greeted by a grand atrium adorned with a chandelier, leading to expansive dining and living areas, a state-of-the-art movie theater, a fully equipped seated bar, and a wine cellar. The master bedroom is a luxurious retreat, complete with a fireplace, wet bar, and a top-tier marble bath.
The spacious property represents a significant upgrade for Curry, who previously resided in a comparatively smaller 7,535-square-foot mansion in Atherton. The new residence not only offers seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms but also includes amenities such as a movie theater, bar, wine cellar, swimming pool, and a sundeck.
