Alpine has given fans a first look at its new engine ahead of the 2024 season by posting a video of it being fired up for the first time.
The Enstone-based team is coming off a season in which power issues impeded their development toward becoming a squad capable of fighting for regular podiums.
Alpine managed only two podiums in 2023, one for each of their drivers, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon. This resulted in a turbulent year in which several key personnel quit the squad.
Alpine is keen to make an impact on the top five in the constructors’ championship in 2024, having gained the financial backing of a number of sporting luminaries.

Alpine is expected to reveal their new car on February 7, however this has not been formally confirmed by the Enstone-based outfit.
