The defending champions, the Denver Nuggets, increased their record to 28-13 despite the fact that the Serbian center had yet another outstanding performance, leading the team to a victory at Ball Arena by a score of 117-109.

At the end of the game, Jokic finished with 25 points and 12 rebounds, coming close to achieving another triple-double with just one assist remaining. In the 33 minutes that Nikola was on the floor, he made 12-13 shots from the field and 1-2 shots from the free throw line. This performance is even more astounding when one considers the fact that Nikola missed only two attempts during his time on the court.

In the past year, he has achieved those marks on three separate occasions, each time with a field goal percentage of ninety. Since 1998, no one else has gone through with it.

Michael Porter Jr. also had a fantastic night for the team that ended up emerging victorious, scoring 25 points while shooting 7-11 from beyond the arc. Furthermore, Jamal Murray contributed 25 points and eight assists, and Aaron Gordon achieved a double-double by scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

Bruce Brown, a former player for the Nuggets, led the Pacers with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists immediately before the game began. This came shortly after Brown received the championship ring that he had earned with Denver in the previous summer.

Buddy Hield came in second with 16 points, and Myles Turner, Andrew Nembhard, Isaiah Jackson, and Benedict Mathurin each contributed 12 points to the team’s total. An injury prevented Tyrese Haliburton from participating in the game.
