The Los Angeles Lakers were able to find their winning touch on Monday, as they defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 112-105. Anthony Davis scored 27 points and collected 15 rebounds, and LeBron James added 25 points to the Lakers’ total.
The Lakers won for the third time in their previous nine games, with Austin Reaves scoring 15 points and D’Angelo Russell adding 14 points. Backcourt partners Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell both contributed to the victory. After being teamed for the first time on November 8, Reaves and Russell were able to start together for the second game in a row.
In spite of the fact that he was a game-time decision due to a right knee sprain, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ended up scoring 24 points for the Thunder.
In the first game of a four-game road trip, Oklahoma City’s four-game winning streak came to an end. Jalen Williams scored 25 points and Lu Dort added 11 points for the Indians, who were on the road for the first time.

The Lakers embarked on a 9-1 run that included five consecutive points from Rui Hachimura, who contributed 12 total points in his second game back from a calf injury. This came after the Thunder had come within 95-90 with 7:14 remaining in the game.
With 4 minutes and 24 seconds remaining, the run gave Los Angeles a 104-91 lead.
At 3:33, the Thunder were trailing 106-93, but they went on a 7-0 run to get themselves within six points of the lead. When Gilgeous-Alexander had a shot inside with one minute and ten seconds left, he had the opportunity to cut the deficit to four points; however, the ball rolled off the rim.
Davis’s dunk on the other end of the court gave the Lakers a 108-100 lead with 50.6 seconds left on the clock, putting the game out of reach for the Lakers forever.
After suffering a loss to the Thunder by a score of 133-110 in Oklahoma City on November 30, the Lakers were able to win their second consecutive game against the Thunder.
