Ferrari Inks Prolonged Pact with Leclerc

In a major announcement today, Ferrari revealed the extension of their contract with driver Charles Leclerc.

While the Italian racing powerhouse did not disclose the precise duration of the deal, insiders speculate it spans multiple seasons.

Team Principal Fred Vasseur conveyed, “Charles’ connection to the Scuderia transcends the typical driver-team dynamic. Having been a part of the Ferrari family for eight years, predating his debut with the Prancing Horse emblem, his values align seamlessly with ours. 

Extending our collaboration was a natural decision, given his relentless drive to push boundaries and exceptional racecraft. We are committed to furnishing Charles with a winning car, acknowledging that his determination and commitment are pivotal in achieving our objectives.”

Leclerc expressed his delight, stating, “I’m thrilled to continue donning the Scuderia Ferrari race suit for the foreseeable future. Racing for this team has been a lifelong dream since the age of three, watching the Monaco Grand Prix from a friend’s apartment. Ferrari has become my second family since joining the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2016, and together, we’ve navigated challenges and celebrated victories over the past five years.
