The Los Angeles Lakers survived a double-overtime thriller against the Golden State Warriors, winning 145-144 in one of the most entertaining games of the NBA season. Despite Stephen Curry’s impressive 46-point performance for the Warriors, the Lakers managed to secure the victory.

The game featured key plays from Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and Draymond Green. Davis split crucial free throws in regulation, allowing the Lakers to go up by two points. Curry responded with a game-tying layup, forcing overtime.

In the first overtime, Klay Thompson made a clutch 3-pointer to tie the game, and Green’s defense against LeBron James led to double overtime. The Lakers held a slim lead in the second overtime, and with seconds remaining, James drew a foul and made both free throws to secure the win.

Curry finished the game with 46 points, shooting 17-of-35 from the field and 9-of-21 from beyond the arc. Green had an all-around performance with eight points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists, three steals, and two blocks. James contributed 36 points, 20 rebounds, and 12 assists in an impressive display.

While the game featured teams currently in the ninth and 12th positions in the Western Conference, the battle between inner-circle Hall of Famers, including Curry and James, added excitement to the matchup. 

Despite the challenging seasons for both teams, the game showcased their competitive spirit and star power. The Warriors will have three more opportunities to face the Lakers in the ongoing season.
