The woman who accused Red Bull team principal Christian Horner of “inappropriate behavior” after receiving — texts from him claims she is “let down” by the F1 team’s choice to exonerate him.
Red Bull declared last month that it was looking into Horner’s, 50, allegations of misconduct through an outside attorney. Horner’s personal assistant had made these claims.
However, Red Bull rejected her complaint, and a few hours later, humiliating sexuаl text exchanges between the two were discovered to be leaked, which resulted in her suspension for what they called “dishonesty.”
‘She is really disappointed with how it’s all gone, especially given she did everything by the book,’ a friend of the university graduate at the center of the affair told MailOnline.
She did everything correctly and voiced her concerns in private, yet she still feels deeply disappointed in the organization.
They have put her on suspension and charged her with lying when, in fact, she dutifully and accurately followed the correct procedures.
Despite all of that, she was suspended from both her beloved career and a highly renowned sport.
“She’s just so disappointed with the treatment from her employer, and the lack of support is noted.”
“Observe what transpired.” She claimed that after an ostensibly open and impartial investigation, Horner was found not guilty and she was subsequently placed on suspension.
The buddy went on, “We need to ask questions of the Red Bull investigation; openness would help people believe that she is getting the help she needs.”
Who at Red Bull was in charge of gathering the information? Who at Red Bull has access to every piece of used confidential material?
“At Red Bull, who is in charge of all these decisions and who is looking into the origin of these leaks?”
“She just can’t seem to get over the fact that she complained and was suspended; all she wants is for the process to be transparent.”
According to the acquaintance, the woman has decided to keep quiet for the time being despite being “inundated” with offers to share her experience.
MailOnline reported last week that Jos Verstappen, the father of Red Bull’s top driver Max, was supporting her as well and expressed his “sympathy” for the woman.
The buddy continued, saying, “She is being stoic and respectful of the process and has received many messages of support from friends, family, and people in F1.”
Nevertheless, there are certain inquiries that Red Bull needs to answer.
“Look, everyone knows motor racing is a male dominated sport,” an F1 insider who is acquainted with the woman told MailOnline.
“I believe that supporters will be questioning what’s gone wrong at Red Bull because it is simply unacceptable for a woman who voiced concerns to be suspended for doing so.”
“It will only deter other wоme𝚗 from coming forward who might have experienced similar problems in Formula One.”
The woman is contesting Red Bull’s ruling and has hired attorneys to support her, but no timeline for the legal process has been provided.
Before facing a suspension, the woman had gallantly continued to work at Red Bull’s Milton Keynes headquarters for several weeks.
‘She didn’t request any of this and now she has been suspended, and the message is fairly clear, it implies to wоme𝚗 be quiet and don’t speak up or you will lose your job,’ the F1 source stated.
Horner, who is married to Geri, a former Spice Girl, has demanded that a boundary be drawn beneath the dispute so that the team may take center stage.
Geri tried hard to prove she was supporting Horner in the first two races of the season, in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Red Bull only stated, “The company cannot comment on this internal matter,” in response to the woman’s suspension.
They stated that they had rejected her complaint following a few weeks of investigation into the claims by an unnamed independent KC.
