NBA player Ja Morant has revealed that his family would be residing next door while also showing off his brand-new property. As one of the hottest young players in the NBA, Morant has made no secret of his status since joining the Memphis Grizzlies in 2019.
After a run of outstanding on-court performances, the Grizzlies point guard transformed from a highly regarded prospect to a superstar during the 2021–2022 campaign. After agreeing to a massively lucrative contract during the offseason, the 23-year-old has subsequently realized the benefits of this.
As a result, the Grizzlies revealed Morant’s contract extension last month in advance of the upcoming campaign. This is the biggest offer the Memphis-based team has ever made to a player.
The 23-year-old signed a rookie maximum contract for £165 million ($193 million), with the possibility of an increase to £197 million ($231 million), according to confirmation. After agreeing to an enticing new deal, Morant appears to have wasted his large sum of money within weeks.
The 23-year-old point guard showed off his new, enormous estate in Memphis in a video that was shared on Twitter, but it soon became clear that his family was also residing next door. With the impressive-looking property in the background, Morant can be heard telling his admirers, “Look at my crib,” in the video.
The NBA player yells to his father, “Hey pops, we neighbours now!” as his camera moves down the road to the house next door. After seeing the video online, fans praised Morant right away, praising him for his kindness to his parents.
