On Thursday, Ayesha shared a few photos of the couple enjoying the sun on a beautiful beach. The parents of three appeared to be in love as they lay in the sand — and Ayesha looked stunning in her floral bikini.


“Sun in our eyes, sand in our hair,” the cook captioned her post.

In a 2019 interview with Hello Giggles, Ayesha credited their strong bond to their ability to communicate with one another.

“Even when we don’t want to talk about something, we talk about it,” she said. “Especially from my perspective, I’m a lay it all out on the table type of girl, so whether it’s a difficult or easy conversation, I never have a tight lip. I tell it like it is, straight up, and I believe it makes things a lot better for us.”

She went on to say that her parents, who have been married for over 30 years, taught them the secret to a lasting marriage: putting each other first.


“Putting ourselves first and making sure that we make time for date nights, and for each other,” she went on to say. “That’s been critical, no matter how difficult it has been. Because when you become a parent, you want to prioritize your children, which we do, but it comes second to our relationship. Because, in the end, when our relationship is strong, our children are happy and thriving, and our family life is healthy. We have to put that in perspective and realize that we are not being selfish; we are ensuring a solid foundation.”
