Klay Thompson scored 28 points, Golden State Warriors won on Miami Heat’s field

The Miami Heat’s victory at home is consistent with the Golden State Warriors’ superior away from home record.

After making a comeback to the starting lineup, Klay Thompson scored 28 points, Kuminga added 18, and the Warriors overcame the Miami Heat 113-92 in the second half.

Thompson had his best throwing performance since the Warriors’ victory on February 15 with a mark of 11–20, which included six accurate long-range throws.
Thompson noted that the Warriors had 30 assists and had only lost the ball 12 times. “Our assist-to-loss ratio is really good,” Thompson said. “That’s always a great sign that it’s going to be a great day .”

The Warriors, who have a home record of 18-19 and an away record of 19-15, are poised to make history as the second NBA team to finish with a winning record above 50% even though they have more losses than wins.
Golden State’s two-point lead at the end of the second quarter was bolstered by the 17-point combined scoring of Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins, who at one point extended the lead to 22 points in the fourth quarter.
Miami was without their leading scorer, Jimmy Butler, who was absent due to illness, but Bam Adebayo scored 24 points for the team. Additionally, Tyler Herro missed 16 games in a row, Kevin Love missed 14 games in a row, and Duncan Robinson missed 4 games in a row for the Heat.

For the Heat, Haywood Highsmith and Terry Rozier each scored fifteen points. Nikola Jovic scored 11 points, while Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 12. Dropping Miami lost 16 of its 18 games in which they scored fewer than 103 points. At the start of the fourth quarter, Miami cut the deficit to 81-87, but Golden State quickly increased their lead to 26-11.
