Houston used to closely chase the Golden State Warriors throughout March with the goal of “stealing” Play-in tickets, but the Rockets’ chances are almost gone.

Celebrating the Golden State Warriors’ 6th consecutive victory, the duo Draymond Green and Klay Thompson headed towards the stands of Toyota Center, Houston Rockets’ home field, and shouted loudly.

This is not a random statement, on the contrary, it also carries a lot of sarcastic meaning. Tari Eason, the young big man of the Houston Rockets, once said that to Draymond Green when the two fought on social networks. 

Klay Thompson shined in the match with 29 points (11-15 FG), while Tari Eason and his shirt bearing the message of teasing the Warriors sat on the bench.

Before the Warriors’ match against the Rockets this morning, Eason also wore a T-shirt with this saying on the way into the arena. But when it was time to leave, Tari was seen taking off her shirt, going shirtless and wearing a vest. 

The reason was that Tari Eason’s “early crowing” had a complete backfire. While Houston was blown out by the Golden State Warriors 133-110 right at home, Eason sat helplessly on the bench due to injury.

“I don’t understand why he did that, especially when he couldn’t even go on the field ,” Klay Thompson said about Tari Eason’s act of wearing a shirt with the ‘trash-talk’ message. 

“If he plays against us directly, everything will be better. Now he’s just sitting on the sidelines but still trying to do it, which is quite pointless and a bit childish.”

Draymond Green, who directly argued with Tari Eason a few weeks ago on social networks, also shared the same thing: ” If you want to send a message, at least do it when you are on the field.”

However, the Warriors woke up at the right time with 6 consecutive wins, including today’s 133-110 victory over the Houston Rockets.
