Stephen Curry’s Startling Image of Sprained Ankle Sparks Concerns Among Warriors Fans

Stephen Curry has left supporters concerned about his current ankle problem as social media footage surfaced of the Golden State Warriors star avoiding a serious injury.

He was the leading scorer with 33 points, four rebounds, and five assists, but the Warriors fell to the New Orleans Pelicans 114-109 on Thursday night.

Curry was seen wearing one of his customary ankle bands to protect his foot during the game, which they are well aware is nothing to worry about.

Curry hurt his ankle only a month ago, forcing him to miss a few games as he recovered. However, following his current scare, the injury may have long-term consequences.

It’s impossible for Warriors supporters not to wince when they watch Curry’s ankle look so vulnerable after landing awkwardly on it during the game, especially given his previous issues.

He did, however, remain in the game, implying that the problem may not be severe.

Is Steve Kerr at fault?

It’s nothing new for the seasoned NBA great, who suffered ankle sprains early in his career and had two surgeries. He has been able to resurrect his career after wearing ankle braces, which reduce stress on his ankle, a typical problem among towering basketball players.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr will be well aware of Curry’s struggles and recent injury worries, but when asked if Curry would be rested against the Pelicans, he simply said “No.”
