Warriors’ Stephen Curry loses his mind over Festus Ezeli’s viral dance

The Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry have essentially spent the whole 2023–24 season struggling. Curry and his teammates will need to win not one, but two road elimination games in order to secure a spot in the NBA playoffs. The first game takes place on Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings. Golden State had to work hard to earn the tenth seed in the Western Conference this season.

Some Warriors fans have been fantasizing of the team’s dynastic run from the mid-2010s to 2022, when the team won four titles, because of all of the difficulties the team has had this season. Festus Ezeli, a pivotal player on the 2010 Warriors team, was there for the club’s victory over the Utah Jazz on Sunday in the regular season finale.

Can the Warriors push for the postseason?

When the Warriors and Kings play on Tuesday, it will be their second NBA postseason matchup in as many years; the only distinction is that it will take place in the Play-In round rather than the actual playoffs. This meeting represents a downfall for two teams that were among the best in the conference a year ago but are now considered to have very little chance of competing in the postseason, even if they manage to sneak in by winning two games.
Of course, Curry is still skilled enough to intimidate any playoff opponent, but the Warriors this season appear to be a shell of their previous self due to Klay Thompson’s sharp decline and Draymond Green’s seemingly increased tendency to act on impulse.

Either way, Tuesday night’s game between the Warriors and Kings is scheduled to begin at 10:00 PM ET from Sacramento. TNT will broadcast the game.
