LeBron James Weighs In on Playoff Battle Against Nikola Jokic

LeBron James discussed the next NBA playoff series he will be playing in against Nikola Jokic, between the Lakers and the Nuggets.

In the NBA playoffs’ opening round, LeBron James will face Nikola Jokic of the Los Angeles Lakers against the Denver Nuggets. In the Western Conference Finals of the previous season, the Nuggets defeated the Lakers 4-0.

The Nuggets and Lakers will play their first game on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. ET. ABC will air the program.

“When you can score at will, it makes your passing even more dynamic,” he stated in an interview with the media prior to Game 1 practice. In the past, our league has produced excellent passers. We’ve got some amazing, selfless guys.”

Despite the Nuggets winning both the regular season series and the Western Conference Finals the previous year, James responded to a reporter’s question regarding the Lakers’ current level of confidence by saying, “It shouldn’t be personal at all.”

“I think you allow yourself to get away from the game plan when you make it too personal,” he continued.

“It’s how long you can just keep your mind even-keeled and keep the main thing the main thing,” he said.

During the practice news conference, Denver’s coach Michael Malone gave a speech to the media in which he praised the four-time champion.
