Klay Thompson films Space Jam 2 on crutches in Los Angeles and reveals accepting $190 million deal

In addition to announcing he will be sticking with the Golden State Warriors, Klay Thompson was seen on crutches on Monday while filming Space Jam 2.

The 29-year-old NBA player was filming a live-action and animated sports comedy sequel when he dressed entirely in white.

Klay was seen playing a tambourine while filming in the downtown area. He was dressed in a white T-shirt, matching slacks, socks, and sneakers.
He moved around on crutches, and in between scenes, he was seen applying ice to his left knee.

During Game 6 of the NBA Finals last month against the Toronto Raptors, Klay tore his ACL in his knee.
Before he left the game midway through the third quarter, he had scored thirty points, and the Raptors had won the NBA championship, 114-110.

On Monday, Klay also announced on social media that he was signing a maximum contract to remain with the Warriors.
In response to rumors that he had agreed to a five-year, $190 million contract, he uploaded an offensive clip from The Wolf of Wall Street to Instagram.

In the video, Leonardo DiCaprio’s character was seen adamantly telling his coworkers that he wasn’t leaving.

Klay and his 31-year-old teammate Stephen Curry have been a part of one of the NBA’s most lethal backcourts thanks to their high 3-point shooting accuracy that goes well beyond the arc.

Known by their nickname, the Splash Brothers, in the 2012–13 NBA season, they broke records for the most three-pointers made in a single season.
