The Los Angeles Lakers had already begun their offseason following their defeat in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs. 

LeBron James, who has a player option for the upcoming campaign, is the subject of speculation once more. One of the main NBA storylines this summer will be whether he decides to stay in Los Angeles or opt out and join somewhere in free agency.

We now know James’ summer intentions, even if we still don’t know where he will play in the NBA next. In addition, Giannis Antetokounmpo, the two-time MVP, will unexpectedly make a comeback.

The Greek publication On Time said that LeBron James will be present at the superstar of the Milwaukee Bucks’ August wedding in Greece.

On August 31, 2024, Antetokounmpo and his longtime partner Mariah Riddlesprigger are supposedly getting married. The Greek resort of Costa Navarino will host the wedding, which is sure to draw a star-studded guest list.

LeBron James will be among the many NBA royalty present at this event. It is unlikely, though, to spark a lot of rumors about LeBron and Antetokounmpo because NBA free agency will have ended by then.

LeBron James is anticipated to compete for Team USA at the summer Olympics in Paris. James will remain in Europe until August 10 or return later that month, having chased a gold medal until then.

Since their 2016 relationship, Antetokounmpo and Riddlesprigger have already given birth to three children. Now that Antetokounmpo also had an early season ending when the Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the playoffs, the couple is finally getting married.
