Stephen Curry, Curry Brand release new Curry Jam collection around All-Star weekend

Warriors G In honor of NBA All-Star Weekend, Stephen Curry and Curry Brand are releasing Under Armour’s newest collection, “Curry Jam,” which draws inspiration from the video game “NBA Jam” and incorporates it into fresh looks for both on-and off-court apparel.

The “Curry Jam” collection, which will be released on Friday, will include a new clothing line based on images from the videogame and three new sneaker colorways: “Retro 1 Curry Jam,” “Curry 4 Low Flotro Curry Jam,” and “Curry Splash Curry Jam.”

For the past few years, the “NBA Jam” game has been a mainstay of All-Star Weekend; it was most recently featured at the Cleveland event in 2022.

Nana Dadzie, Director of Brand Marketing at Curry Brand, stated, “We wanted to create something special for that moment. All-Star Weekend brings the basketball community together to celebrate the culture around the game.” “We wanted to pay homage to the past, when arcade video games were the pinnacle of entertainment, and create a collection that brought the vibrant colors and lively graphics of that era to some of the best Curry Brand styles with this ‘Curry Jam’ collection.”

The “Retro 1 Curry Jam” model’s color scheme is based on the original game’s branding colors, with the game’s famous “He’s on fire!” slogan splattered across the black top.

The Curry 4 Flotro variant has a more straightforward design, with a red plush collar and a blue knit upper covering a yellow midsole and outsole. The high-tech sneaker has UA’s renowned Flow technology, which offers wearers the best ground-contact cushioning and traction available.

The more colorful colorway is the “Curry Splash Curry Jam,” the final sneaker in the UA shoe lineup. It has a black mesh upper with a color scheme that combines elements of the most recent and original “NBA Jam” logo. The “static screen” sock lining adds a pop of color.

The shoes are available for $150, $130, and $100 at retail. This weekend, fans in Indianapolis can view and buy pieces from the collection at “Curry’s Gameroom,” a pop-up vintage arcade at Circle Centre Mall that draws inspiration from the video game.
