Klay Thompson’s universe exists, and we are all simply living in it.
After winning his fourth NBA title with the Golden State Warriors, the shooting guard has gone on a grand tour to celebrate.
He took to Instagram on Saturday, sharing a photo from the Bahamas’ beaches.
The caption for a photo of Thompson in the sand with the words ‘NBA Champs 2022!’ read: ‘Everything is better in the Bahamas’.
Thompson was videotaped last week drinking a beer and celebrating enthusiastically while his brother Trayce played for the Los Angeles Dodgers in a 7-4 victory over the New York Giants.
The Bahamas are more than just a vacation destination for the five-time All-Star; his father, Mychal, was born in Nassau, the Bahamas’ capital.
Thompson even paid tribute to his family on the islands after defeating the Boston Celtics in six games.
Thompson stated, “I know my family is in Nassau, watching.” ‘I can’t wait to go back and celebrate with my entire family this summer.
The Washington State product has received numerous accolades this summer, including the 2022 ESPY Award for Best Comeback Athlete.
Thompson had experienced many ailments in recent years, including a ruptured ACL and Achilles tendon in two of the previous four seasons.
During the NBA postseason, the shooting guard averaged 19 points, 2 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per game.
